August/September 2026 Updates
To our Prayer Warriors and Fellow Soldiers in Christ,

First I (Andy) want to thank you all for your prayers after having sent our last letter out. The Lord has been MORE THAN FAITHFUL to answer all your prayers and ours. The playground was installed and ready for the kids to use during the VBS and we had a turnout of kids that we never would have imagined prior to the event in July. We had around 60 kids attend VBS, which is around three times as many as last year!!! The team from Michigan made it to Ecuador safely and were able to return safely. To say that the group that came to help us were a blessing would be a massive understatement! The Lord used them in amazing ways and it was so blessed to watch the Lord directing each one as only He can. Many kids made a profession of faith and we ask for your prayers, that the Lord would give them the courage to continue in His perfect will for their lives! It is hard to communicate the challenges to these young kids, in the idolatrous culture as we live in, but trust me when I say they have a LOT of trials ahead as they fight to serve Jesus.

Also, many have asked about the ministry house that we have been renting and wanting to buy. The owner miraculously asked to talk to me about buying the house and has agreed to lowering the price by $10k to a price that is fair ($40k). We just ask that you pray for the Lord’s will to be done concerning the entire situation and that He will make a way if it is His will for us to buy it.

As many of you already know, we have been trying to figure out how to get long-term help down here for a considerable amount of time. We have been praying and thinking about this for years, and recently an opportunity has arisen for me to go to two missions conferences being held 5 days apart in Texas in October. These kinds of events are designed to bring excitement to potential missionary candidates and to help sending agencies get connected to those who feel called to serve overseas. We have never been involved with this kind of thing before, but it seems to us that God is opening doors for us to walk through. Please help us pray to stay in the will of God, get connected to the right people, and for wisdom in all the details of the planning.

We can’t thank you enough for your prayers and support over the years. We couldn’t do what we do without you all having our backs. I feel it is a time like no other to pray like never before for the Lord to draw, convict, and change this province for Christ! If the Lord puts it on your heart to spend extra time praying for us and what we are doing here, we would greatly appreciate it!
May the Lord guide and lead each of you in His perfect will and to have the strength to follow and obey wherever He leads!
In Christ, Andy, Priscilla, Jude, Sam, and Elena
